i've been looking forward to this for a long time.
let me explain the situation a little bit:
some of you already know, but my father passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54 last year (last tuesday exactly a year).
he suffered a stroke and passed away 7 weeks later, during that time his brain was so damaged that there was no communication possible with him in any way.
he always had his struggle with life, his one and only joy was photography.
he was already in photography when he met my mom.
that camera has been hiding in a box since before i can remember, he switched to digital due to cost, and after his death i took care for his camera.
a few weeks ago my first film from that camera was developed, (what i've been looking forward to during this year) and was a bit of a let-down. it turned out that there were some light leakages, but i thought it could also have something to do with the film itself, since it was old.
today i picked up the second film (a newer one, and better kind, kodak gold) which had the same strokes of colour over some of the images.
the thing is, the coloured strokes are inconsistent, some pictures turn out perfect. and i don't know why.
tomorrow i think i'll go to de photostore and ask what it will cost me to have it looked at and fixed.
probably something with the curtain, since there has been no maintenance in 24! years.
i'll keep you posted

If men tend to say "I came, I saw, I conquered" women might as well say "I came, I saw, and you were already mine"
